Reducing waste

   

   

We believe that if we place home composting into the 'Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Recovery, Landfill' waste hierarchy model (right) then it would sit above recycling because it represents a better way of getting rid of our waste as it needs no trucks or energy intensive processes. 

It's just you, processing your own waste, in your own garden and using it to grow, enrich the soil and encourage biodiversity.
