If you want to buy a bin, there is a wide selection available.  Your local council may sell a selection of subsidised bins to encourage home composting and reduce garden and kitchen waste.  To find out if your local council offers any discounts on compost bins, go to www.getcomposting.com and enter your postcode.

Below is an introduction to the most popular compost bins you can buy.  All of these will be available at www.getcomposting.com, but you can often pick them up for free on sites like Freecycle and Freegle, or being sold cheaply on eBay, Preloved, Gumtree or even Facebook.
