Workbook: Growing and roguing

We sow tomato seed for the glasshouse in late February/early March and outdoor varieties in late March. Sow seed shallowly, about 0.1cm deep in pots with some warmth. When ready, prick out seedlings into individual pots and pot on as necessary until ready to be transplanted to their final positions under unheated glass or outdoors in a sheltered spot.
